Sludge and solids

Pursuant to the recycling process of paper, tiny paper fibers, which are not fit for paper manufacture, are discharged. These paper fibers constitute a principal component of the waste generated by the paper manufacturing process. This waste is recycled for secondary uses and integrated into industrial and agricultural products instead of being sent to landfills. Treating the process’ waste enables savings in raw materials and contributes to the protection of the environment.
