Hadera Paper Infrastructure and Development

The division provides the central technological and engineering services necessary for the operation of the Group’s manufacturing companies at the Group’s facilities in Hadera. The division consists of highly trained and uniquely skilled professional teams. The division’s main areas of activities are:
Energy – The energy provision line for the manufacturing processes includes the plant’s power station, which currently provides about half of the electricity consumption on- site for the generation of steam. Recently, this line has been successfully converted to natural gas. The Company is currently exploring the  possibility of establishing a power station that,  will be able to combine between the provision of the site’s energy consumption and the sale of surplus energy to external customers. The division promotes energy saving processes and supports the improvement of systems in an ongoing manner. 
Engineering and Projects – the division provides development and implementation services to a wide range of technical, engineering matters and to advanced engineering planning of unique,  complex projects. The services include writing specifications, planning of mechanical systems, planning of electricity and control systems and planning of processes. The division benefits from the most advanced engineering software tools in Israel. The professional, skilled team has built its capabilities over years of experience and has a track record of professionalism in the development and establishment of advanced systems for paper machines including assisting in the current establishment of the new production line for packaging paper at the Hadera site.
Development and Technology – includes provision of services in the fields of water, sewage and environmental quality technologies. As part of this activity, the division is leading the building of advanced systems for the treatment of the plant’s wastewater via aerobic and anaerobic facilities. Furthermore, the division is responsible for the plants’ supply of fresh water while maintaining availability and quality.   
Maintenance and Logistics - the division provides mechanical and electrical maintenance services and performs various activities to ensure quality, logistical processes, normal manufacturing activities and logistical operations of companies located at the Hadera facility.
