As a leading organization responsible for groundbreaking industrial achievements, the Hadera Paper Group shall continue to zealously develop and renew its businesses based on advanced technology. As part of this business approach, the Group is establishing a large production line for recycled packaging paper for the corrugated fiberboard industry.
Within the framework of this project - entitled “New Horizons”- approximately NIS 690 million will be invested, representing a considerable investment sum under any industrial standard.
The new line will enable an increased use of recycled fibers in the production dilution, and transform paper production from an imported pulp dependent process to a process based on locally sourced recycled fibers.

Furthermore, the Group is exploring the possibility of entering into a new business focal point by establishing a natural gas based power station, seeing it is a large consumer of energy and has been co-generating steam and electricity for self-consumption for years.
Once established, the power station will enable a supply of future electricity demands of the Group in full, as well as the sale of surplus energy to the Electrical Company and private industrial entities.
The Group holds a permit for the establishment of a power station for the manufacture of up to 230 MW of electricity.
